Hey everyone, just letting you now I am still working on some stuff for Cloudflash (though I'm doing it very slowly). Today I decided I'd make the Download page. There aren't a lot of things to download at the moment, but I hope to add more wallpapers, preloaders, and even some Winamp skins (I think I'll look for some software to create skins... the method I have is quite a grueling task ). I'm also thinking whether I should allow people to 'submit downloadables' or not. Feedback and whatnot appreciated

I was almost ready to make another "Update" thread for this one, since it's very big news. But it isn't exactly an update, so I'll just have to throw it in here. . .
ATTENTION EVERYONE!
Meteolife is now complete! Yes, you heard me right! The well-known Cloudflash project that's been in progress for just over a year! It's finally done, and almost everything I hoped it to become when I began. Now, I couldn't fit in everything I wanted to, and I changed a few things around, but it's still the Meteolife you all know and love. Let's take a moment to look back on Meteolife.
May 19, 2005 - Meteolife is born! The absolute basic movement, obtained from a cheap tutorial, has been experimented with and works. The background moves and the character rotates to create the illusion of movement. All Meteolife was when it started was the 16 empty plots of land and a top view stick man. -Due to Meteolife's needs, I learned about hitTests, variables, and keycodes. With this, I was able to make a few of the buildings, with buttons inside to do stuff, and I was able to make stats and the character name. -When Meteolife was about half-done, I showed it in the CPT room. Quite a few people played the game, and seemed to enjoy it. The game was later previewed on Cloudflash. -Meteolife was worked on little by little, and put off to the side a lot of the time. At some point I got back to working on the game. I needed to add the save/load, but couldn't find any good tutorials for it. I e-mailed several of the authors of the tutorials, and one responded. He explained it a bit better and gave me examples, so I was able to make the save/load for Meteolife. -Buildings were slowly being added for quite a while. It was a bit hard thinking of what buildings to make, then deciding on making something replace it, but it finally got done. During this time, I added a few extras, such as day time/night time, being drunk, and power on/off at the power plant. May 21, 2006 - Meteolife is completed 2 days after a year of existance.
The Cloudflash Games section is now in progress, and Meteolife is expected to be up within a couple days. Meteolife will only be on Cloudflash for a while, and will eventually be put on Newgrounds.

Yes, Meteolife basically works in the same way Stick RPG does. There are lots of differences though, and there are a lot of things Stick RPG doesn't have

I might have deleted the file, so the URL in that thread probably doesn't work anymore. Anyhow, the game is completely done, I did some work on the Game Index, so now I just have to decide how submission pages are going to look, and make it. I'll get to work on that soon.

So, are you going to let us give you stuff as downloadable content... Because I am going to make a wallpaper once I finish my colab that I am doing with some people... The wallpaper will be about the colab, so? I think it would be cool... But you should pick out what ones are good, and apropriate!
